Benzoin Resin Oil is derived from the resin or gum of the Styrax benzoin tree
[Family: Stryracaceae] which grows in Sumatra Indonesia.
With its vanilla-like base notes it makes an excellent fixative in natural perfumes and blend well with many essential oils.
Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
