Calendula Essential Oil also known as Marigold Essential Oil (not to be confused with Tagetes oil) is extracted from the bright orange flowers of the Calendula officinalis, part of the Sunflower family which is native to Southern parts of Europe.

It can be used as an ingredient in perfumery or in cosmetic lotions and creams. Calendula blends especially well with lavender, frankincense, cypress and bergamot.

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
