Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil is carefully steam distilled from the green aromatic flowers and leaves of the Origanum marjorana herb which is cultivated in Northern Egypt. It has a fresh, herbaceous and woodsy aroma with slightly medicinal undertones.
Herbs in the botanical family Labiatae which include Marjoram, Oregano, Rosemary, Sage and Thyme love dry rocky slopes, wide open spaces, and sun lit mountains and are found growing wild in the median climatic regions around the Mediterranean Sea.

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product. With a dilution it is not necessary to dilute the oil as it is already diluted and can be used straight on the skin although a patch test is still recommended.
