Scots Pine Essential Oil is steam distilled from the green needles and twigs of the Pinus sylvestris conifer which grows wild in the forests of Bulgaria although the tree is native to Scotland in the once extensive Caledonian pine forests . It has a powerful, fresh green forest-evergreen, balsamic, terpenic aroma. It reminds one of the purity and freshness of a walk among the stately trees of a pine forest and has many aroma therapeutic benefits for the health of our physical, emotional and spiritual identity.
