Champaca Essential Oil is derived from a subtropical tree michelia alba of the magnolia family. It is the large yellow or orange flowers that produce the intensely fragrant scent through steam distillation. The flower extract is used as a primary ingredient in the world’s most expensive perfumes due to its complex exotic and seductive fragrance. In the past the blossoms of the tree were used in herbal preparations and the oil used in skincare.
Champaca blends well with sandalwood, violet, rose and carnation.
Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
