Frankincense (Olibanum) Absolute in DPG 50%  (Boswellia carterii)

Origin – Somalia East Africa
Part Used – Gum, Resin
Extraction Method – Solvent Extraction
Appearance – Golden brown coloured, pourable viscous liquid
Scent – Balsamic slightly citrine odour characteristic of Somalian Frankincense
Main Uses – Perfumery and for creating your own blends. Cosmetic preparations, lotions and creams etc

Growing Conditions – No pesticides, synthetic chemicals, herbicides, GMOs or harmful chemicals are ever used during any stage of the growing or distillation process.

Frankincense Absolute is richer than standard Frankincense essential oil and has a balsamic age old resinous warmth with citrus undertones. It possesses great depth and complexity and makes an interesting base note for fresh citrus, spicy and floral accords. Using DPG as a solvent means that it is alcohol free.

Frankincense has been revered and used in Somalia and parts of the Middle East for thousands of years as spiritual incense and for its medicinal uses. It is now also used in high quality cosmetics.

For External Cosmetic Use Only

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.

Keep away from eyes, sensitive areas, babies, children and pets. Do not use on broken skin 

Avoid all Absolutes if pregnant or nursing
