Passionfruit Essential Oil
Botanical Name – Passiflora edulia
Origin – China
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed from the fruit
Key Components: Linoleic acid, oleic acid, tocopherol
Part Used – Seeds and flowers
Scent – Fresh and fruity
Blends well with sweet orange, ylang ylang and lavender essential oils
Appearance – yellow to clear liquid
Composition – cold pressed oil extracted from Passiflora edulia seeds and flowers
Main Uses – Perfumery , Cosmetic use, skin lotions etc.

Passion fruit is also known as marcuja and it originates in tropical areas such as the Amazon Rainforest. The oil from this plant is extracted from the seeds of the fruit or from its beautiful exotic flowers. It is superb on its own as a fruity natural perfume ingredient or can be blended into skin beneficial creams, lotions, massage oils etc.
This oil should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin.
A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
