Organically produced Rosemary Essential Oil is steam distilled from the aromatic flowers, leaves, and twigs of the Rosmarinus officinalis grown in Spain. It has a fresh, sweet-herbaceous aroma with minty-green woody undertones.

Rosemary derives its name from the Latin ros marinus, or ‘dew of the sea’ as it grows near the coast. It was sacred to the ancient Greeks and Romans who believed it was a symbol of regeneration.

Rosemary apart from it being a culinary herb has been used throughout the centuries to drive away evil spirits, fumigate sick rooms and in helping to reduce fevers.

Rosemary Oil is said to relieve minor pain and inflammation, especially muscle tension. It may also help relieve congestion caused by a cold or the flu. Rosemary supports healthy clear skin and can be skin rejuvenating.

Rosemary Oil encourages mental clarity and can also help clear negative thoughts or moods. In aromatherapy it is often used for improving sleep quality and to have a calming effect.

The dilution is between 5-10% pure Absolute/Essential oil in a base of Organic Grapeseed Oil and Natural Vitamin E Oil. Being quite strong it can be diluted further if necessary and can be used straight on the skin however a patch test is always recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product
