This product is free from any additives or adulterants. It has been rigorously tested and meets the highest standards possible. No pesticides, synthetic chemicals, herbicides, GMOs or harmful chemicals are ever used during any stage of the growing or distillation process.

This organically crafted authentic pure Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood Oil is steam distilled from the heartwood of the sustainably harvested Santalum paniculatum trees found exclusively on the Island of Hawaii under unique climatical conditions that are necessary for the trees to thrive. Hawaiian Sandalwood is a very precious oil and has a deep woody richness which is similar in some ways to traditional Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album).

Hawaiian Sandalwood is called ili-ahi in Hawaiian and was in past times considered a sacred and ceremonial plant which was used and traded by Hawaiian royalty. It is a most revered substance in perfumery being prized for its tranquil and deep fragrance.

It is often the base oil in expensive colognes, perfumes and body care products. Its subtle yet sweet and rich and woodsy aroma blends well with flowery Jasmine, Orange and similar oils to balance its heavier presence.

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product. With a dilution it is not necessary to dilute the oil as it is already diluted and can be used straight on the skin although a patch test is still recommended.
