Thyme is a sun-loving herb which grows wild on the sun-baked hills around the Mediterranean. It is covered for two or three of the summer months with delicate fragrant pale mauve flowers these being attractive to bees, and with culinary uses.
This is a strong oil and is best used well diluted or blended with other oils such as Lavender, Sandalwood, Vetiver or Geranium.
Absolutes which are solvent extracted rather than being steam distilled are stronger and more concentrated than Pure Essential Oils. Being an absolute It is also a lot harder to find and more expensive than the pure essential oil.
For External Cosmetic Use Only
Always dilute Pure Absolutes before use on the skin.
A patch test is always advised.
Avoid using all absolutes when pregnant or nursing
