Botanical Name Lilium randidum oleum
Origin – Turkey
Part Used – The white flowers
Extraction Method –Steam Distilled from freshly picked Lily Flowers
Appearance – Pale yellow to green brown coloured, slightly viscous mobile liquid
Main Uses – For creating your own blends and in cosmetic use for creams and lotions etc

Pure and rare Turkish Lily Oil has a delicate flowery sweet fragrance and is highly revered as a natural perfume. At wedding ceremonies in Ancient Greece, the bride would wear a lily and wheat crown which symbolises purity and abundance. Lilies have been cultivated for over 3000 years and have a symbolic place in the history of many Countries around the World. This steam distilled Turkish Lily Oil is extracted from freshly picked Lilies.

Absolutes and Pure Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product. If blending into lotions etc, 1-3% of the absolute is usually about right.
