Violet Leaf oil is well respected as having relaxing, soothing, and inspiring properties. It generally blends well with other essential oils and is perfect as a fixative. Specific pairings include Tuberose, oils from the floral family, Clary Sage, Lavender, Benzoin, Cumin, Basil, oils from the Citrus family, Sandalwood, Geranium, and oils from the Spice family.

Being a natural product it has wonderfully strong evocative notes of fresh Violets with additionally a green, leafy woody aroma. (please note that the violet leaf essential oil is different from the violet essential oil that we also stock. Both are from Egypt but the violet leaf oil is a darker green colour and and has a stronger, leafy violet aroma than the violet essential oil which is a lighter green and more floral)

Uses:

• Highly valued in natural perfumery as a rich, intensely green accent – adds extraordinary leafy depth, freshness, and a distinctive, verdant quality to blends
• A distinctive addition to diffuser blends in small quantities, bringing a fresh, green, atmospheric quality to any space
